Meet Lynnette Appling, MSHRM, PHR

Lynnette Appling is an accomplished Senior HR executive with extensive experience administrating organizational planning and development through strategic initiatives and programs. She has developed and executed human resource strategies to support organizations’ business plans and strategic directions. Her expertise is in psychological safety/DEI, ethical processes and procedures, people operations, change management, organizational development, and total compensation.

​As an HR career coach, Lynnette has guided people to develop their abilities while strengthening their competencies to overcome various obstacles that may hinder their performance.

​Her passion is to eliminate bias tendencies, which cause people to miss intricate qualities that bring immeasurable value to the workforce. Training leaders and employees to see common goals while developing their capacity to connect is her mission.

​Lynnette is an international author of several published writings in esteemed magazines and self-help blogs. She has been featured in “Promoting Purpose” Magazine, “Woman of Standard Magazine”, “I MATTER Magazine”, “Shulamite Woman Magazine”, “WOMAN Magazine,” “Gospel4U Magazine,” and “Alabaster Magazine” amongst others.

​Her first book, “A Kept Woman”, has been translated into four different languages and distributed worldwide. Her second book, “The Heart of a Woman”, has been a trademark of self-discovery for many women. Her third book is entitled “Baby I Am Free: Breaking Free from Emotional Torment”. It has been used as a mindfulness tool that gives guidance in emotional stability.

​Also, Lynnette is a seasoned speaker who can break down organizational ideas into bite-size initiatives. She has trained and taught concerning glass ceilings, work equity, and establishing administrative structure.

​Lynnette Appling is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Leadership and Development. She has a Master of Science in Human Resource Management with Distinction, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is credentialed as a Professional in Human Resources through HRCI Institute. She possesses over 20 years of professional development experience, leadership training, administrative consulting, and employment law.
